Last Night I Cried (Project Overview)
MULTIDISCIPLINARY ART & CURATORIAL PROJECT
Last Night I Cried….
Last Night I Cried… is a multidisciplinary art and curatorial project that explores heartbreak and healing through collective care rather than individual recovery. Rooted in vulnerability and the daring act to love, the project creates spaces where emotional expression becomes communal, embodied, and witnessed. Operating at the intersection of art, wellness, and mental health, Last Night I Cried… unfolds through photography, moving image, installation, cultural programming, and living art objects—functional pieces designed to carry the work beyond the exhibition space and into daily life. Created for women of color, the project functions not only as an artistic practice but as an act of service, offering a living framework for reflection, connection, and shared emotional release.
