about

RAVEN IRABOR is a dynamic Pan African Director, Art Curator, and Creative Director whose work vibrantly captures the beauty, depth, and nuance of African Diasporic cultures. Born in the Bronx to Trinidadian and Nigerian parents, she weaves narratives that unite Diasporic identities through shared cultural expressions—from the elegance of adornment to the influence of folklore. With a distinctively feminine and stylized approach, Raven's work spans the commercial, fashion, art, beauty, lifestyle, and culture industries, characterized by portraiture, collage, and magical realism. She has directed and curated for renowned brands including Meta, InStyle Magazine, Roc Nation, and Paramount Studios, garnering acclaim from Vogue UK, Hypebae, and ARTSY Magazine. Her exhibitions, such as “Last Night I Cried… Unveiling Liminal Spaces” and “Black in Every Color,” alongside screenings at major festivals like the Los Angeles Fashion Film Festival and Reel Sisters, position her as a rising force in the creative community. She has also received support from organizations such as the Bronx Council on the Arts, Adolescent Content, and Black Film Space.

As the founder of RAE Studios, Raven champions culturally authentic and relevant work that resonates deeply with contemporary audiences. With nearly a decade of production experience in media and advertising, she approaches her projects with a collaborative and innovative vision, pushing creative boundaries at every turn. Raven is also an engaging speaker, sharing her insights at events like Black Women Photographers’ Being Inclusive panel and NVE Experience Agency’s Creative Women of the Diaspora. Through her public engagements and artistic endeavors, she is committed to uplifting Black and Diasporic artists, shaping a more inclusive and vibrant creative landscape for all.
